This will be more of a comment then a review, but both.I've loved the Stronghold series for 10 years. When I heard about SH3 I was happy as I could be.Everyone dislikes this game because 7Sixty pushed the game out before it was ready to release and it was buggy due to that fact. It was not buggy at all by FireFly's fault.98% of the bugs have been fixed as of 1/29/2012.I didn't have half the bugs people were talking about anyways.. Just a few graphical bugs(that have been fixed) and a few VERY MINOR gameplay bugs.As for a couple of comments I saw here about the DVD being empty and it being a Steam Download... Bull crap.. I opened up the CD and found 3.4GB of content in there, including the setup.exe, model files, texture files, game setting files, coding and more. The DVD is in no way empty. Now for my review..(kinda short)Fun game. Once you update the game all the bugs are fixed, and the game is really fun. Sure it would have been better if it had some more content, like King Maker, but They were going for a different idea then SH2 or SH:C. Graphics are breath taking from the previous games. No not BattleField 3 graphics, but really really good for and RTS game. New lighting effects, intense map editor, better animations, better models and new weather.. All thanks to the new engine they used.Recap.Graphics: 5/5Gameplay: 4/5Map Editor: 5/5Content: 4/5Fanboy attraction: 100/5P.S. If your hoping for a manual or something, don't expect it. All that comes in the case( I bought a hard copy) is a code for DLC(Which I have yet to see?) and the install guide with the Steam code. Box is really pretty, has a folding cover with beautiful screen shots. Nice thick box an case.. none of that slim stuff!
