Once you get them working, these monitors are great. I use them for work because the LCD monitors my company gives me are garbage, and they get dim quickly. I don't need that kind of eye strain. I don't have issues with bleeding like others do - my guess is that's a result of their brightness/contrast settings, or something similar.I am writing this review to help folks out with the VGA-only issue. It is true these have ONLY a VGA input. You really need to check your computer to see if it has only DVI outputs. My computer has one VGA output and 2 DVI outputs. I use dual monitors, so I needed an adapter for one of them. Not only do you need to know if your outputs are DVI, you need to know what TYPE of DVI outputs they are. If you have DVI-I outputs, adapters are pretty simple because DVI-I outputs carry BOTH a digital and analog signal. HOWEVER, if your outputs are DVI-D, then you have a problem. These outputs carry only a digital signal, which these monitors CANNOT PROCESS. What you need for DVI-D outputs is a DVI-D to VGA active converter. Why is this a problem? Because these converters have active electronics of their own. They even require their own power adapter. None of this is really a huge problem, except for the fact that CONVERTERS cost a fortune. The one available on Amazon sells for $123 ea. Look up the Addon part number DVI2VGACONVERTER. That's what you will need if you only have DVDI-D ports. Needless to say, you should buy a different monitor if you have DVI-D ports. It would be cheaper. How do you tell the difference? All DVI connectors have what I call a "slot pin." It's an elongated pin that slips into the longer slot in the port. Look at your output port on your computer. If it has four normal pin holes surrounding the slot, you have a DVI-I port and should be in good shape. You can get an adapter for around $20 that will strip out the digital signal and send just the analog. If the slot is by itself, with no pin holes directly above or below, you most likely have a DVI-D port. This port sends ONLY a digital signal, which must be actively converted to analog. Some computers have 2 DVI ports and one will be -I while the other is -D. In those cases you'd only need one converter if using dual monitors, and one cheaper adapter.Just beware of the equipment you have. If your computer can send enough analog signals for you to run the monitors or adapt them cheaply - whether you're using just one or dual - then these monitors are great. I highly recommend them. But it's complicated. ;)
