This game is very difficult to play . has alot of gliches, you have to keep buying food and water to feed your dog, well before you know it its all gone and you have to go to the pet store again, I tried to help my granddaughter get the dog to do tricks and its literally impossible, all it will do is sit. I can not make it do anything else I have tried everything and I am 49 years old, so how can a child be expected to learn the dog tricks. I still can't figure out how it is suppose to get sleep zzzz, or get him to go in the dog house. The game is frustrating for any child.This is one of my granddaughters favorite games it came on time and works well. Just a footnote this game does not work on windows 10 unless you have a Virtual Machine with windows xp or vista on it which I do other than that great little gameMy grandson had so much fun playing Puppy Love it is a great video showing how to love and care for a pet and ingraines in the mind of the child these two gestures, Love and care. I recommend it for our young children.My 5-year old loves this game. She has spent hours feeding, grooming, and playing with this dog. As an adult, I find this terribly boring, but for some reason, taking care of the virtual dog has really captured my daughter's imagination -- even though we have real dogs. She also loves to shop for the pup, and then she plays the competitions to earn more money to buy yet more virtual toys. We are also purachsing Kitty Luv for a little variation.I bought this for my 6 year old and she loves to play it. She is a real animal lover and this dog is easier to train and play with than our real dog.This game is not for 7 and younger. It is to complex for them. My older boys (12) did great at it.this game is fun, but it dose have a few problems with game playI bought the Puppy Luv game for my 7 1/2 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She plays it every day. We don't have animals, so this gives her a little experience with what it is like to have a dog.
