I've been looking for a STURDY 'Center Channel Stand' for under our TV, in which I could angle upward for better sonic effect. Besides being too expensive, and no adjustments, I gave up. Then I decided to look into Laptop or Monitor Stands. When I saw this, I was ready to order, until I noticed it was too small for my Definitive Technology Speaker. Then I improvised!! Maybe I could buy 2 and connect them together somehow. This is a Large Center Channel Speaker, and heavy also. When I opened the boxes and saw how sturdy these stands really were, I did the unthinkable. I assembled them, then I connected them together using 3M Heavy-Duty Double-Sided Tape. This tape is STRONG. In the picture you see where I seamed them together with it. But I did not remove the Pull Strip, there was no need to. So, to get the angle effect I also bought the 'Hi Fi Swivel Feet'. And it turned out perfect, better than I thought it would. So, if you need these for your Laptop or Monitor great. But for supporting an expensive Center Channel Speaker you can't go wrong with these either!! I hope I was some help to someone who is trying to figure out how they can get a decent stand for their Center Channel. It took me forever to finally get what worked.
