A World Union citizen is murdered in Russia, one of the few remaining Rogue States. This murder oddly coincides with the accidental death of a prominent professor in Adrianopolis, an important border town between the World Union and Russia. Peace Officer Phoenix Wallis is assigned to lead the investigation of the murder. Still young and inexperienced, she will soon make discoveries beyond her wildest imagination, as skilled hackers and subversive characters begin taking an inexplicable interest in Phoenix. Her investigation reveals enigmatic clues that lead her deeper and deeper into a mystery that challenges not only her case, but her very beliefs in the worldview she has sworn to protect. This story-driven, third person game uses a 3D engine with dynamic cameras and other technologies developed by Momentum AS., with remarkable patented facial animation technology that brings realism to over fifty personable characters that you'll frequently engage in dialogue throughout your investigation. This game, to me wasn't that fun. Most of this game is spent, talking, and here's the thing about it. I actually like games that have the characters talking, but you chat for 10 minutes to characters and it's so confusing! They go on and on about things that don't even make sense! And the voices are HORRIBLE! There's many characters and yet they all have the same voice? what is that (and agian, so bad voice acting, the worst). The scenary isn't nice either. It looks like they tried but failed. Actually it looks like this game was made in 1998 and was a "great game" at that time. The characters faces also, horrible. The only good thing I can say was that, the little actual gameplay there was, was OK. The mini games/puzzles were fun too. So if your into old fashioned games and can stand alot of NONSENSE talk (not long talks, nonsense talk) then this may be a good idea for you.The developer of Culpa Innata originally developed this game to showcase the patented impressive facial modelling and animation technology of the characters. I am looking so forward to checking this game out.Unfortunately, if you do a digital download, upon launch of the game you will be presented with a window to enter the product key. An automated email indicating the product key button for the game will be located in your digital downloads will be sent to you at time of purchase. Regrettably, the product key button is not present for this game in my digital downloaded games section of my account. I have contacted Amazon customer service via telephone and email and am still waiting for a resolution. So, keep this in mind before you click that buy and download button, you will not actually be able to play the game until this situation is resolved. Nor will you get a refund. Not as good as Myst/Riven. Works on Windows7 . Music ...disappointing, Puzzles....best part of game, Visual.... pretty good. I only have about 7 hours into the game so perhaps I'm not far enough into it.This game was a complete waste! It must have been developed overseas as the english subtitles were lacking in translation on occasion. The puzzles were not much of a challenge and the storyline was boring. At the end of the game, the final cut scene locked up the computer and required a reboot. At that point, the game would not even reload/start so I had to reinstall. Yes, I'm using a top of the line computer with Vista Ultimate so I'm sure it was a programming problem. What a piece of garbage.Meh...It was all right.. A little clunky..buggy, impossible pathfinding and the occasional asinine puzzle will make sure to ruin your experience like culpa innata writers did to me. Too bad because there was a n overall intriguing story behind this clunker of an adventure game. The misses are just unforgivable. AvoidAmazing adventure game. Can't wait for a sequal.downloaded twice and wont run. I had better get a refund!
