All of the elements of the family-favorite board game have been turned into a 3-D city-building simulation. You start off, of course, as a real-estate developer who buys land and must decide what purpose each property must serve to bring about the greatest public good: commercial, residential, or industrial. As your wealth and power grow, you'll throw your hat into the race for mayor. Considering how the original board game made cutthroat competition fun, it should come as little surprise that Monopoly Tycoon allows up to four players to campaign against each other for the mayor's office over the Internet or a local area network.
I'll first start off by saying I LOVE MONOPOLY... In looking back at my childhood I remember countless nights sitting around a little card table in our living room playing for hours! (Back before the iDevices ruled the world!) Well now that technology has come into play, we've digitalized and so have many of our gaming habits. When I stumbled across Monopoly Tycoon and read the reviews and description - I knew I was destined for hours of fun.Upon receiving the game, I installed it on our family computer running Windows XP with no problems whatsoever. The installation only took 3-4 minutes and it was time for gameplay!The game itself is quite fun and keeps you engaged. I don't want to spoil all the fun you'll see but keep this in mind. If you love any of the Monopoly board games or Monopoly itself.... You're likely going to LOVE Monopoly Tycoon just as much!
