hi,reason why i kept this 3 star desk: I had Amazon credit, free money because i have an amazon credit card. (cash back type thing)* SO with TAX and all... the desk cost me approximately 28 bucks. So i wasn't going to send it back somehow. (even-though i know Amazon would have taken care of me)* NOT a SOLID piece. it's 2 (two) pieces. At first i was OK with it being two pieces... just "OK". kept saying to myself it is a 28 dollar desk.SO, i end up getting a Valve Steam Deck system. (I went the full, most expensive route and purchased the best model.) I wanted to get a good gamer desk, figured i'd add my ps5 stuff to the desk and Nintendo Switch too.- Well, i did not want to purchase a new monitor, i have this old monitor. I decided to use it. I put it in the middle of the desk. Well, the desk was bending downward. Why? because it has a line in the of desk and has FLIMSY little rods that keeps the desk together. (other than two thin rods keeping the desk together ,were 3 wooden pegs. Yeah those cheap ones, lol.* it ticked me off, because the descriptions stated it can hold up to a certain weight. not accurate. it couldn't.I ghetto-rigged a brace for the bottom of the desk so it can hold up better. I was scared and didn't want to deal with the old computer monitor and came up with a plan.Showed the wife, she also couldn't believe it.* GOOD NEWS* wife gave me the green light to purchase a new monitor. prior to the desk purchase i did purchase a monitor for the kitchen, decided to get another exactly like it. I purchased them at Amazon. AMAZING monitors. (also purchased them on sale)I provided pictures of the desk and of the black line showing it is a two (2) piece desk, not a solid piece.* I don't know if it is psychological, but i swear when i rest my arms on the desk, i think i feel it curve downwards.The dual monitor stand, ( HUANUO Dual Monitor Stand, Adjustable Spring Monitor Desk Mount Swivel Vesa Bracket with C Clamp/Grommet Mounting Base for 17 to 27 Inch Computer Screens, Each Arm Holds 4.4 to 14.3lbs ), helps keeping the desk together, and spreads out the weight. *IT cost me $45.00 bucks.The Monitor(s): CRUA 24 inch 144hz/165hz Curved Gaming Monitor，FHD 1080P Frameless Computer Monitor，Support AMD freesync Low Motion Blur, Eye Care, VESA, DisplayPort, HDMI, Black *it cost me approx. $120.00 bucks each. Got them on sale.The mouse-pad, the GIANT one that came with the desk, TOTAL TRASH,lol. i Swear. some blue and purple thing. wasn't gonna use that at all, figured it would have been solid black or something pretty. Not a Fast and Furious style mouse-pad.Wife gave me the green light to purchase a mouse pad with Amazon too,lol.- A One_Piece Mouse Pad Anime Mouse Pad Gaming Mouse Pad Large Mouse Pad,Extended Desk Mat Desk Pad for Keyboard and Mouse Suitable.15.7×35.4 in B * it cost me $23 bucks.and since i was at it, i purchased some $20.00 speakers, and two (2) USB-C hubs that cost me approx $25.00 bucks each.* the DESK, IS NOT 60 inches. It's 59 inches.I will say the desk is made up of good material. it is. But making it a 59 inch desk, with weight already on it, i don't know how it can hold the weight it says it can.So ... this $28 dollar desk, ( again because i had store credit from my Amazon credit card), cost me an additional $378.00 because i didn't want to return the desk that is two (2) pieces and not a solid piece.The extra purchases doesn't bother me, i used that bad experience for a positive. Got my wife to let me buy cool stuff.The pictures of the desk that the company provided, didn't match with what i got. That is the main thing that ticks me off...and the crappy mouse-pad. With a bad experience with this desk, it being 59 inches, bothers me too. LOL for some reason.I don't blame Amazon, it is this computer desk company.side note- the monitors, the USB-C hubs, mouse pad, dual monitor stand that i purchased with AMAZON were amazing. all of those products are top notch. I couldn't be happier.god, i hope i made sense, i just typed away without proof reading.So to start off with the desk did come damaged so that is why I didn’t give it a better score, I think companies really need to start packaging their products better and not relying on shipping companies to get them to their destination in 100% condition when they work mostly on conveyor belts, this aside the desk it’s self was really nice with lots of room I’m about average height and the chair raises pretty high too. Putting this together was really easy even though the instructions where a little lacking. The desk has a nice feel to it and has that cool carbon fiber look and feel to it so that’s nice if your into that style. Love the middle computer screen portion it’s high enough to slide a Nintendo switch under ( for rough reference). My only wish is that the cup holder was designed a little different allowing for a flat surface inside the holder instead of the metal ring type system it hasI love this desk! I definitely recommend it. The only issue I had was 2 of the pieces were mislabeled (should have been m&n, was labeled j&i). I knew where they should go, just right or left had me baffled. Once I got past that though, it is amazing. It's very sturdy and the top is practically scratch proof. I'm glad I took the chance on this!It says it’s 60in long but it’s only 39in long.Desk was great shipping was aweful. That’s why we shop with amazon to have it Delivered to my door and have Amazon prime And USPS wouldn’t deliver it we had to go pick it up at the post officeGreat product. Just as prescribed. No offense to Amazon but i really don't trust a lot of products from amazon especially when it comes to furniture or cloths but read a lot of reviews and most common ones were either damage product which 9/10 it is usually delivery error. I used to work at ups and let me tell you they dont care about your product. The more fragile your item is the more they dont care. I used to work on the unload/loader and if something is too big or weights to much you let it fall to the ground and shove it down a chute with your foot. With that being said dmg to the product wasnt a worry of mine. Other complaints i saw was the stickers on the piece were different then what showed on amazon which was a concern because i wasnt looking for racing checkers on my desk. Noticed that the people that complained about it were over 6 months to a year so made the purchase and glad i did. It fits perfectly in my room which is nice because i dont have much room in my room only minor issue i had was that the controller stand was missing a sticker on the base that prevents scratching on the desk. The monitor stand fits perfectly but it seems a tad lose when you grab by the front it dips down a little but works fine. Would strongly recommend.We’ve purchased 3 of these desks for our 3 boys! They were the perfect addition to their gaming rooms! Assembly was easy and only took about 30 minutes per desk for my husband and I. They are very sturdy as well! Overall we’re very pleased with this purchase!My husband got this desk for gaming and he said it's "bitchin'". He said he loves it and it beats having a small rinky dink desk. It feels real sturdy and like it will last for years.He gives it 4 stars rather than 5 because the box it came in was damaged and he had to hammer some pieces back into shape, since they got deformed in the box.
