I've had this game here...Raven Squad...as a guilty pleasure of mine for awhile now. It's really Crysis meets X-Com and that's a dang good combo in my opinion. I won't make any arguments about the voice-acting...it's bad but I like it. It has a cheezy SyFy channel quality...I laughed quite a bit at some of the lines.But I tend to lighten up a bit over something so trivial compared to gameplay. And to me, Raven Squad holds up. It's not Battlefield or Call of Duty, but you know...not every game can be that. And I'm fine with that idea. Those games are so safe and by-the-numbers nowadays anyway.If you're just looking for a goofy good-time, taking out some terrorists, you could do worse than Raven Squad. Most could compromise with the score, give it a 3 out of 5. And I would agree with that score; this is definitely a flawed game. But I had fun playing this, more fun with this game than I did with the super-safe Battlefield 3. Maybe I'm a weirdo like that. Whatever. I like this game. 4 stars.
